The course began in Easter 1963, and has been run at the Royal National College for the Blind in Hereford every Easter since. The College was a teacher training college for the first few years, which made it an ideal venue for a ringing course. The RNC took it over in the late seventies, and have made many improvements since. Most bedrooms are now en-suite, and the college has major plans for further development in the next few years; including some relating to the London 2012 Olympics, as the college will host some of the Paralymic events.
